J. André Daigle, LL.M., MCIP, RPP

Mr. Daigle is a lawyer and registered professional planner based in Dieppe, New Brunswick. His legal practice focuses on local government, land use planning, and procurement law. Before entering legal practice, he worked as a land use planner with the Province of New Brunswick and later at a regional planning commission, which has informed his advisory work with local governments, regional service commissions and provincial governments across his areas of practice for more than 30 years.

He serves as Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Law Society of New Brunswick and chairs the Municipal Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) - NB Branch. He is a past member of the Professional Standards Board of the Canadian Institute of Planners and past chair of the Municipal Law Section of the CBA (National), the Atlantic Planners Institute and the New Brunswick Association of Planners.

Mr. Daigle publishes and regularly delivers training to elected officials, municipal staff, and professional associations across Atlantic Canada. He has also taught municipal and planning law at the university and college levels, and is a regular conference speaker in legal, municipal and planning circles.
