Mr. Doiron is a Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive executive leadership experience in the credit union, municipal and private sector environments. He has held senior and executive roles with the Town of Caraquet, UNI Financial Cooperation and Groupe Savoie Inc.
During his 19-year tenure with UNI, he held a number of roles, including director of treasury and accounting, director of credit and finance, director of finance and investments, director of financial operations, assistant general manager of the insurance company and assistant vice-president of business services and partnerships. At Group Savoie, he served as vice-president of finance, responsible for financial management, information technology and continuous improvement, including the implementation of new accounting systems.
In addition to his wide professional experience, Mr. Doiron has served as president of CGA NB, president and a member of CPA NB’s governance committee, and as a business teacher for the Centre d’entreprenariat de la Péninsule acadienne.
