High-Risk Investments

High-risk investments are some of the most complicated types of investments. They have potential for higher-than-average return but also come with higher-than-average risk. They are typically meant for very knowledgeable or affluent investors who can afford to take more risk and get specialized advice, or who understand they are responsible for doing their own research and due diligence before investing.

Examples of high-risk investments include securities crowdfunding, crypto assets and trading on the Foreign Exchange Market (FOREX).
