A truly rewarding place to work.
The Commission offers a competitive total compensation package and exciting opportunities for professional development. We support our employees in maintaining their professional designations and provide technical updates on a continual basis for many of our sectors. We offer a variety of management leadership skills training opportunities and a popular French-language program for those employees interested in strengthening or maintaining their second language. Our professional groups bring together professionals working in the same fields to offer peer support and learning.
Health and wellness
The Commission is committed to supporting wellness initiatives in healthy eating, physical activity, psychological wellness and environmental sustainability. These initiatives have been recognized by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Our employees can take advantage of yearly flu shots, and a fitness reimbursement program. We also provide confidential counselling, referrals and resources through our Employee and Family Assistance Program. Our active social and wellness committees at both locations organize events throughout the year, including social gatherings for staff, fitness activities, lunch and learns, and wellness challenges. In addition, we offer flexible work arrangements and recognize the value of work-life balance.
Students, interns, and new grads
Advance your career with an organization that works to protect New Brunswick consumers. Each summer, we hire summer students to work in our two offices. Co-op students also have opportunities to do work practicums in particular divisions.
