Application Fees
Fees
The fees for an insurance application are non-refundable. Our standard licensing processes will be followed, and a licence will only be issued to suitable applicants who have submitted a fully completed application.
Payments may be made by credit card during the application process via the Commission's Portal. Otherwise, there is an option to select and make your payment at a later date by sending a cheque or money order made payable to the “Financial and Consumer Services Commission” or by contacting our office at 1-866-933-2222 to arrange payment by credit card.
Please note that applications will not be processed until payment has been received.

Expiry dates
New Brunswick insurance licences expire on March 31, June 30, September 30 or December 15 of each year, depending on whichever is closest to the anniversary of the date the licence was issued without exceeding one year.
Upon renewal, agents who have not had disciplinary action against them and do not have conditions on their licence for any reason, are eligible for a two-year licence upon their second renewal. Adjusters who have held their licence for two consecutive years, may be eligible for a two-year licence.
Insurer licences expire annually on May 31.
